Kanye West Declares The Last of Us Part II “The Best Game Ever Made”

Kanye West knows ball.

Kanye West recently made a bold return to social media this week—likely hinting at an upcoming album—and has been on a posting spree ever since. From photos of himself to random voice notes, his activity has been anything but quiet.

However, last night, fans were treated to one of his most grounded posts in a while. Taking to Instagram, Kanye paid homage to the video game The Last of Us Part II, calling it “by faaaaaaaaaarrrr the best game ever made so far.” He also clarified that his praise wasn’t part of any sponsorship, just genuine admiration for the game.

Kanye West definitely doesn’t seem like the type to dive into video games. Then again, a genius like him probably needs creative stimulation in all forms now and then. As for me, I’m no gamer, so I couldn’t tell you what the “best game ever” truly is. If I had to throw my two cents in, though, wouldn’t it obviously be Super Mario Bros.? Classic, timeless, and the OG of fun.
