Did Ice Spice Get Booed Off Stage? Fans Outraged Over Short Set and Late Arrival | RGM News

Ice Spice’s 2025 hasn’t started the greatest.

Right now, Ice Spice is arguably the most buzzworthy rapper out of New York. While she might not be considered the best lyricist or have a groundbreaking project like Y2K!, her global recognition and influence are undeniable. People care about what she says and does.

Recently, Ice Spice performed in Australia, but the show didn’t go as planned. Reports claim she arrived 20 minutes late to her set, sparking boos from the crowd. Some speculate the negative reception led her to cut the performance short, playing just three tracks before leaving the stage.

Do you know what I love? Fans are holding musicians accountable more and more these days. People aren’t buying albums as much anymore, and if fans feel disrespected, they’re quick to let you know. In this case, based on the accounts, it seems Ice Spice was late, and that simply wasn’t acceptable to some. I respect that. However, I personally feel like being 20 minutes late isn’t that bad at all. Honestly, every time I go to the dentist or doctor, I end up waiting at least that long!
