LiAngelo Ball’s New Single Gets Stamp Of Approval From Tory Lanez, Lil Yachty, and More | RGM News

Li’Angelo Ball has the song of the year so far.

2025 is already 2025’ing. Despite Drake dropping a fire freestyle and Lil Baby releasing his WHAM album, the buzz everywhere seems to be about LiAngelo Ball’s single, “Tweaker.” Initially previewed during a recent Neon streaming session, the track gained traction and has since been officially released.

Since its release, “Tweaker” has received widespread co-signs. Tory Lanez quoted a few lines from the track, Lil Yachty was spotted vibing to it, and the Cleveland Cavaliers were even playing it in their locker room after a win.

The first thing that comes to mind when listening to “Tweaker” is how much it sounds like some old-school St. Lunatics s**t. The confusing part? LiAngelo is neither old enough to remember that era nor from St. Louis. Yet, the track’s success says something important: music fans are tired of the same old formulas we heard in WHAM. We crave artists who push boundaries and deliver something fresh, which LiAngelo does here. This might be a glimpse into what the average listener is looking for these days.

Is Li’Angelo in the streets like that?
