Kanye West Accuses Adidas of Sabotaging Yeezy, Freezing Funds, and Design Theft

Kanye West has serious smoke with Adidas.

Whether you admire him or not, Kanye West’s Yeezy brand has undeniably left a monumental mark. For an artist, not an athlete, to revolutionize sneaker culture the way he has is remarkable. It’s even wilder when you consider he managed to sell what some have dubbed “slave clothing.”

While Yeezy’s success owes much to its partnership with Adidas, the relationship has been on rocky ground for a while. Today, yet another chapter in their ongoing feud unfolded.

Kanye West Goes After Adidas Once Again

Ye has accused Adidas of damaging the Yeezy brand, freezing his accounts, and stealing his designs. In response to what he views as mistreatment, Kanye announced plans to continue to sell items from his new clothing brand for just $20, vowing to “burn the game to the ground.”

There are three guarantees in life: death, taxes, and Kanye West beefing with a major corporation. This latest feud? Nothing new.

That said, here’s the thing: urban clothing has always been overpriced, so seeing someone like Kanye challenge that norm (even if his reasons might be questionable) is something that could genuinely benefit us all.

This might just be one Kanye cause worth supporting. Read his full rant below.
