Rap fans are going head-to-head right now.
Fans were left with mixed feelings when Cardi B’s Invasion of Privacy was ranked the “Biggest Female Rap Album of the 21st Century.”
While Cardi’s 2018 album brought hit after hit, including the song “Ring” featuring Kehlani, “I Like It” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, and, of course, the viral smash “Bodak Yellow,” many fans quickly took to social media to express their disappointment in the W.
The debate sparked on X (formerly Twitter), where Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s fanbases clashed in the comments of tweets showing the Billboard chart data. Cardi stans celebrated their fave, but many others felt that Nicki Minaj‘s Pink Friday or Roman Reloaded should have taken the top spot instead.

For many, Pink Friday is a time capsule that takes us back to our teenage years.
Released on November 22, 2010, the album delivered iconic tracks like “Super Bass,” “Fly,” and “Moment 4 Life,” with guest appearances from Eminem, Kanye West, Drake, and Rihanna. In contrast, Invasion of Privacy was released on April 6, 2018, a few years later, but also cemented Cardi’s place in the rap scene.
Which album do you think should have taken the #1 spot: Pink Friday or Invasion of Privacy?
