Lil Baby Hints at Second Album of the Year with “DOMINIQUE” Tease

Lil Baby is looking to run it back in a month.

Say what you will about WHAM, but there’s no denying this fact: Lil Baby’s album has become the first release of 2025 to hit number one on the Billboard charts, with over 140k units sold in its opening week.

While the album has garnered some mixed reviews online, its impressive sales in just one week show that Lil Baby likely sees this as a win.

In true Lil Baby fashion, he’s already preparing for his next move. Yesterday, he teased his upcoming project on Instagram, saying, “See y’all again in a couple weeks—Dominque The Album 2-?-25.”

If Lil Baby manages to claim the number-one spot with DOMINIQUE in February, he will join a short list of rappers who have achieved the feat of releasing two number-one albums in a single year. Eminem did it in 2009 with Relapse and Recovery, while DMX accomplished it in 1998 with It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

Do you think Lil Baby can bring out two number-one albums in one year? Let us know.
