Bobby Brackins Calls On Ray J & Jeremih For “My Birthday”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

What a random collaboration.

One of the biggest guarantees in music is that if you drop a birthday track, there’s a very good chance it will do serious numbers. Bobby Brackins understood the assignment and kicked off 2025 with a birthday track. While that shouldn’t surprise anyone, what will surprise you is that the track features contributions from Ray J and Jeremih.

Bobby Brackins had a quiet 2024, releasing only one track: “Bad One” with Marc E. Bassy. Jeremih, on the other hand, dropped a few singles, including “Secret Santa” and “Sick” with 4batz. Meanwhile, Ray J only released one single of his own, “THROWING STACKS,” featuring Sukihana.

I’m not going to lie—I really enjoyed this track. “My Birthday” boasts a punchy beat with serious club vibes, passionate crooning, intoxicating melodies (which feels so fitting), and a chorus by Jeremih that’ll get stuck in your head almost instantly. Lyrically, the three singers do everything they can to put their respective women on pedestals, promising to give them whatever they want on their special day.

Of course, Bobby got the guy who made “One Wish” to jump on a track about birthday wishes.
