Ina Forsman’s “Pass You Bye” Is A Song You Won’t Pass Up

Rating: 5 out of 5.

A soulful song that you won’t be passing up anytime soon.

The top comment on the official visualizer for Ina Forsman’s newest single, “Pass You By,” says, “Wow! This song is amazing!!! And so is your voice! I’ve never heard of you before, but I really hope you blow up,” and I couldn’t agree more.

The track seamlessly blends soul and contemporary pop elements, with the electric keyboard and harmonic choir evoking a 1960s vibe. Forsman’s vocal performance is a standout feature that drives the song, and the lyrics are remarkably well-written, with clever rhymes that reinforce the theme of owning your path and not waiting for anyone to catch up. One of my favorite lines is, “Walk my way or away, either way.” As someone who recently left the nest to forge my own path, Forsman’s message resonated with me on a personal level.

What truly sets this single apart, and hints at what’s to come in Forsman’s upcoming fourth album, is its ability to showcase her as an artist who has not only mastered her craft but also knows how to make it feel effortless. I’ll definitely be giving her new album a listen as soon as it’s released.
