Kendrick Lamar Drops Limited-Edition Merch to Support LA Wildfire Relief Ahead of Super Bowl Performance

Austin City Limits – Kendrick Lamar in concert

We are now less than two weeks away from Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance.

Kendrick Lamar is gearing up to deliver the biggest solo hip-hop show in history (yes, I know SZA will be joining him, but it’s still his show). While pressure doesn’t seem to faze Kendrick, his preparation for such a monumental performance is crucial. So far, he’s done a solid job of getting everything in order.

Today, he built even more excitement by dropping exclusive merch dedicated to the performance. The collection, which carries a vintage LA Raiders-inspired aesthetic, will have all proceeds going toward individuals affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. A great gesture for his hometown.

Some of the phrases featured on the clothing include “Foot Up On The Gas” and “But Somebody Gotta Do It.” The pieces also showcase Kendrick Lamar’s logo—his first initial and last name written in cursive. Additionally, the limited-edition collection was co-designed by renowned California designer Willy Chavarria. Well done!
