Wale was ready to fight for old DC.
The Washington Commanders wrapped up their season last week with a tough loss to the NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles. While the final score (55-23) doesn’t quite reflect how competitive the game was, there were enough moments to keep Eagles fans on edge. You could almost say the Commanders fought to the end. And speaking of fighting to the end—so did Wale.
A video circulating on social media last night shows the “Lotus Flower Bomb” rapper, a longtime Washington Commanders fan, nearly squaring up with a group of Eagles fans. Dressed in full Commanders gear, Wale appeared visibly heated as tensions flared. Fortunately, security intervened before things escalated further.

It’s unclear what sparked the altercation, but one thing is certain—Wale’s passion for his team runs deep. My only question is this: If the Washington Wizards somehow make the playoffs in the next couple of months, can we count on him to take a few swings at a few fans from the opposing squad? We’ll see (BTW, we’re based in the DMV).
