Drake is playing chess, not checkers.
While Kendrick Lamar is riding high off his Grammy sweep and preparing for a Super Bowl performance, Drake is keeping himself busy—both by taking his Anita Max Wynn Tour to Australia and by announcing a new joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR.
Today, Drake took to X to announce that he and PND will drop their collab album on February 14th (Valentine’s Day). The title? $OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U.

This release is huge for a few reasons:
- It’s Drake’s first project since his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar. Will there be subliminal shots?
- Drake and PND have an undeniable chemistry. Their past collabs (“Recognize,” “Come and See Me“) have been fan favorites.
- A Valentine’s Day release suggests an R&B-heavy, late-night playlist vibe.
While Kendrick is dominating rap headlines, Drake is reminding us that he still controls the vibes.
Are you excited for this album? And do you think Drake will address the beef—or keep it strictly about the music?
