The smoothest beat on the album belongs to “Any Day,” which says a lot considering how many laid-back, vibe-heavy beats this project boasts. But don’t let the mellow production fool you—this track also features some of Larry June and 2 Chainz’s most aggressive raps on the album.
Both artists approach the song like motivational coaches, teaching listeners how to turn losses into wins. Their consistent flows and direct deliveries cut through the silky instrumental with precision. Meanwhile, 2 Chainz’s punchlines shine, as he effortlessly positions himself as the best thing since—well—five slices of bread.
5. Tru Organics
Something about those ’70s buddy cop instrumentals always gets to me.

One of the track’s standout elements is the duo’s seamless back-and-forth delivery. 2 Chainz plays the role of the homie telling wild stories while cruising at 45 MPH, while Larry raps with the laid-back demeanor of someone swinging in a hammock. The result? Pure, effortless cool.

The Alchemist, Larry June, and 2 Chainz each bring their own brand of cool—and on Life Is Beautiful, they blend their styles to create a project filled with grown-man wisdom, smooth and soothing instrumentals, and slept-on rap styles that often get overlooked due to their laid-back and quirky deliveries.
However, one thing to keep in mind: This album is not built for high-energy moments. If you’re feeling sleepy, drink some coffee or make sure you’ve had nine hours of rest before diving in. A good chunk of the project leans into a drowsy, unhurried vibe, which may not click with everyone at first.
That said, if you take the time to truly absorb the lyricism, you’ll find a rich, rewarding body of work that showcases two rappers at the top of their game over The Alchemist’s masterful production.
