Joe Budden Claps Back at Drake Over Finsta Post

Joe Budden and Drake’s beef will never end.

Right now, it’s Drake against the world—or at least, that’s how it seems. Seeing Kendrick Lamar perform “Not Like Us” on a stage as monumental as the Super Bowl was already a major statement, but the real impact came when both his peers and an electrified audience sang along to every word of the scathing diss track. Instead of staying silent, Drake is hitting back—but not through music, at least not yet.

Instead, he’s taking his rebuttals online, using his Finsta account (plottttwistttt on IG/X) to drop some pointed posts. Among them? A rather unflattering clip of Joe Budden. Unsurprisingly, Budden wasted no time responding on The Joe Budden Podcast, where he pulled no punches. His message to Drake? Focus on his “99 enemies” instead of coming for him, and in a brutal dig, he claimed he doesn’t battle with “corpses”—implying that Drake’s career is as good as dead.

Drake vs. The World: Super Bowl Fallout Sparks More Feuds

While the Drake vs. Kendrick feud has been one of the most compelling in modern hip-hop, his ongoing spat with Joe Budden feels more like a petty, never-ending saga. The two have been trading shots for over five years, with temporary truces in between. But with so many names on Drake’s list right now, it’s telling that Budden is one of his first targets. Maybe there’s more to this story—who knows, maybe Joe was on that Super Bowl stage crip-walking, too.
