Wiz Khalifa Teases “Kush & Orange Juice 2,” Drops “On Demand (Freestyle)”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This is the Wiz Khalifa that used to kick ass back in the day.

For fans of Wiz Khalifa, the wait for a true return to form might finally be over. The Pittsburgh rapper has officially announced Kush & Orange Juice 2, a sequel to his classic 2010 mixtape Kush & Orange Juice—a project that many still consider his best work. To set the tone, Wiz has released a brand-new single, “On Demand (Freestyle).”

The track’s slick, lounge-ready production creates the perfect backdrop for laid-back smoking sessions. If you don’t drink, go ahead and grab a shot of your smoothest whiskey. Lyrically, Wiz keeps it true to his signature style, rapping about his wealth, lavish lifestyle, and, of course, his love for cannabis. Berner jumps in with a verse of his own, flexing his global influence and private jet sessions, while Berner’s brother arguably delivers the standout verse, reflecting on self-growth and, naturally, having beautiful women by his side.

With Kush & Orange Juice 2 officially on the way, longtime fans are hoping Wiz can recreate the magic that made the original a classic. If “On Demand (Freestyle)” is any indication, he’s off to a strong start.
