Recently, rapper Reason sat down with Bootleg Kev to discuss various topics, including his exit from Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). During the interview, Reason made a surprising revelation—he aligned himself with Drake during the height of the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar feud, believing it would be the easiest way to get out of his contract with TDE.
This decision has sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans support Reason for doing whatever it took to free himself from a label that has had its share of disgruntled artists, including SZA. Others argue that loyalty is a cornerstone of TDE, making his move to side with the biggest rival of the label’s top artist a bold, if not controversial, choice.
