This Britney Spears sampled song slaps.

Coco Jones dropped her new single “Taste” on February 21st, and I’m totally hooked. The track samples Britney Spears’ iconic “Toxic,” giving it a sultry R&B twist that showcases Coco’s stunning, soulful voice. She uses impressive vocal runs throughout, highlighting her vocal talent perfectly.

“Taste” explores the feeling of desiring someone you know might not be the best choice for you. With seductive lyrics about obsession and addiction, Coco sings about longing for the slightest touch or kiss from this person who’s constantly on her mind. She chases the exhilarating rush their presence gives her, even though she’s aware it might not be the healthiest pursuit.

The track is fun, catchy, and undeniably sensual. It’s a feel-good anthem that will have you singing along and smiling all the way through.
