The Puerto Rican artist relies on trippy trap beats, amps up his aggression with more confident rapping, and comes across as less heartbroken and more braggadocious. Despite the shift, he maintains his signature exciting hooks. Fans who’ve followed iann from the beginning will appreciate this return to form, showcasing that he hasn’t forgotten his roots. However, for those hoping to see him fully transition into a pop star, this project might feel like a slight detour.
