Lizzo is “Still Bad”

Rating: 4 out of 5.
for Still Bad by Lizzo.

Lizzo stays in her baddie era.

Lizzo released her newest single, “Still Bad,” on March 13th, serving as the perfect reminder for any baddies going through tough times that they are still not the ones to play with.

“Still Bad” is about facing difficulties or challenges after a breakup or being single for a while. Life may be throwing curveballs, and things might be hard, but at the end of the day, you’ve got this on your own. Lizzo also reminds her audience that she does NOT need a man, instead opting for a drink and reaffirming that she’s still got it. The man in question has nothing to do with how much of a baddie Lizzo was—and still is.

The track carries an angsty yet sensual vibe, blending grunge with ‘80s-style pop for a unique sound. It features a solid beat and a catchy chorus, but what truly makes it stand out is its powerful story and message. This one’s for the girlies!
