Lizzo stays in her baddie era.
Lizzo released her newest single, “Still Bad,” on March 13th, and it is a perfect reminder for any baddies that are going through something in their lives right now that they are still not the one to play with.
“Still Bad,” is about going through difficulties or challenges after a breakup or after being single for a while. Life is throwing you curveballs and things are hard, but at the end of the day, you got this on your own. Lizzo reminds her audience that she does NOT need a man, instead opting for a drink and reminding herself that she’s still got it. The man in question has nothing to do with how much of a baddie Lizzo was and still is.
The track has an angsty and sensual vibe, blending grunge with some 80’s style pop for a unique sound. It has a good beat and a catchy chorus, but the story and message this song brings is what really makes it stand out. This is a good song for the girlies.
