Lil Durk Drops “Can’t Hide It” with Jhené Aiko

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Lil Durk’s R&B bag is very underrated.

Despite facing legal troubles, Lil Durk is pushing forward with his music, officially announcing his forthcoming album, Deep Thoughts. While rumors of the project have circulated for weeks, fans finally received confirmation when a release date surfaced online. Along with the announcement, Durk dropped the album’s lead single, “Can’t Hide It,” featuring Jhené Aiko.

“Can’t Hide It” is a surprising yet welcome choice for the album’s debut single. Over a smooth R&B-infused beat, Lil Durk delivers melodic, introspective verses about his love for his woman, acknowledging how she makes him smile while admitting he can’t always mask his troubled past. Jhené Aiko complements the track with a sensual verse, effortlessly flowing over the beat as she expresses her desire for someone she sees as more than worthy of tossing her.

With its vintage-style chorus, seamless collaboration, and infectious vibe, “Can’t Hide It” sets the tone for what could be an emotionally charged and sonically rich project in Deep Thoughts.

Saying you can’t hide your street look from your girl is wild.
