OG BLACKS Drops a Motivational Banger with “Filthy Rich”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

This is one of the hardest tracks you would hear today.

OG Blacks says his musical influences are The Notorious B.I.G. and Kodak Black—and let’s be real, that’s an interesting combination. But one thing’s for sure: he can rap his ass off just like them. Taking a slightly comedic approach to his tracks, this London rapper has been delivering all kinds of flavors, and his latest single, “Filthy Rich,” is a standout.

In “Filthy Rich,” OG Blacks lays out his hustler mentality, promising his girl that he’s grinding for their future—when he returns, he’ll have enough money to provide for them both, “Gone ‘Til November” vibes. He also reflects on his past, when people doubted him, and makes it clear that now, as a rising rapper, he’s untouchable. The first thing that grabs you? His confidence. He spits with a strong flow, real-ass lyrics, and motivational energy that hit differently over the smooth drill instrumental.

I love come-up stories like this one.
