There’s more purpose behind his lyrics, more depth in his delivery, and honestly, he’s proven he’s more than capable of carrying tracks solo—something he’s leaned into heavily on his recent projects.
After dropping two strong albums, A Gift & a Curse and One of Wun, it looks like Gunna is gearing up for another one. Earlier today, the Atlanta rapper took to social media with a simple but powerful caption: “IM OTW ! ALBUM SOON !”

What makes this even more interesting is that just yesterday, Young Thug also hinted at an upcoming album. And if history tells us anything, this could signal another unofficial standoff between the two. Let’s not forget—Thug dropped BUSINESS IS BUSINESS just a week after Gunna released A Gift & a Curse, a move that didn’t feel like pure coincidence.
