A delightful alternative tune that’s sure to leave you grinning from ear to ear.
Chicago-born pop alternative group The Knockaround Band is back—and better than ever. With their signature mix of infectious melodies, driving guitar riffs, and electrifying energy, the trio is carving out a bold space in modern pop-rock. Originally founded by Carleton Koldyke and Julian Stacey in 2017, the band gained local momentum performing around the Windy City. In 2024, the group relaunched with the addition of guitarist Ian Harsh, whose dynamic playing brought new depth and energy to the band’s sound.
Heavily influenced by genre-bending icons like Maroon 5, Matchbox Twenty, and The Band CAMINO, The Knockaround Band delivers a fresh twist on alt-pop with their latest single, “Waterfall.”
“Waterfall” is an energetic ride from start to finish—anchored by bright guitar riffs, vibrant percussion, and a soaring vocal performance that’s impossible to ignore. The lyrics urge listeners to slow down and savor the beauty of the present moment. With lines like “Listen to the wind that’s calling your name, Let it run through like the blood in your veins” and “Be amazed at the gold and glitter, It is bound to take your breath,” the song invites you to let go and dive into life’s flow.
Feel-good and full of heart, “Waterfall” is more than just a catchy tune—it’s a sonic burst of optimism that will lift your spirits and leave you humming long after the final note.
