That Mexican OT Trades Verses with Lil Wayne on Unexpected Single “Baby Mad At Me”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Lil Wayne used to make tracks like this in his sleep.

If you haven’t been paying attention, That Mexican OT is on a serious hot streak. From dropping solo bangers to releasing a solid joint project with Sauce Walka, the Texas rapper is clearly in his bag. Now, he’s landed what may be his biggest co-sign yet—collaborating with none other than Lil Wayne on the new track “Baby Mad At Me.”

For those expecting a bar-heavy, lyrical sparring match—this isn’t quite that. Instead, “Baby Mad At Me” is a left-field, melodic record centered around relationship drama, with both rappers airing out frustrations about women who hate how they move. Their solution? Shrug them off.

The real curveball here is the production. Built on a melancholic, almost alternative-country beat (yes, seriously), the track leans into genre-bending territory you might expect from someone like Morgan Wallen, not two rap titans. Still, it works in its own weird way.

That Mexican OT delivers a passionate hook and even slips into an animated impersonation of his girl on his verse. Lil Wayne comes in sounding like the ultimate unbothered player, true to the persona he’s built over decades.

It’s an odd pairing, and an even stranger beat—but somehow, it’s entertaining from start to finish. “Baby Mad At Me” shows that That Mexican OT isn’t afraid to take risks, and Wayne, as always, can still make anything sound cool.

Why do we men get a high off being yelled at?
