Roe Delivers Sultry R&B Perfection With New Single “Stay”

Yeah, “Stay” is an undeniable hit.

It only takes five minutes of listening to Roe to realize she’s a star in the making. Hailing from Venice, California, she checks every box I look for in an emerging singer: stunning voice, sharp pen, and plenty of pizazz. Her latest single, “Stay,” only reinforces that.

In “Stay,” Roe expresses a vulnerable yet confident longing for connection. She tells that special someone she wants to be with them, is willing to put in the effort, and can’t stand long stretches apart. The song floats effortlessly over a smooth, classic R&B instrumental that brings instant calm to your ears. Roe’s delivery is rich and textured—she moves between seductive crooning and low-key rap cadences, showing off her versatility in all the right ways.

What makes “Stay” so impressive is its balance. The melodies are on point, the chorus is catchy, and the vibe is intimate yet polished. Roe nails the emotional tone without overdoing it, making this a track that feels fresh yet timeless.

If you’re a fan of soulful, genre-blurring R&B, “Stay” by Roe is a must-listen.
