IDK and No ID Reunite for “WiNSTON WOLF”

IDK is a crazy man.

You have to wonder if people are truly paying attention to the talent of IDK. Yes, his style sometimes echoes Kanye West, but that doesn’t mean he lacks originality. In fact, he might be one of the most versatile rappers in the game right now—unafraid to dive into new genres or tackle unexpected topics.

Now, the buzz is growing around a possible collaborative album with legendary producer No ID, and to fan the flames, IDK just dropped a new single called “WiNSTON WOLF.”

The beat No ID delivers isn’t flashy—it leans into a smooth, reggae-inspired rhythm with a solid knock. But IDK takes that foundation and turns it on its head. From bizarre “la la las” to third-person flexes and a rebellious, self-congratulatory hook, he manages to make the weird feel watchable. Is it perfect? No. Cut the “la la las” and tighten up the chorus, and this might’ve been a standout. But even with its flaws, it’s undeniably an interesting listen.

I feel like IDK is throwing a bunch of s**t at the wall and is seeing what sticks. I respect that strategy.
