Drake Is Prepping A Very Important Album, Per Adin Ross.

I feel like they call every upcoming Drake album an important one.

Everyone loves a good underdog story—and right now, hip-hop’s most unexpected one centers around Drake. Yes, Drizzy Drake Rogers himself is in comeback mode. After what can only be described as a public perception nosedive—complete with over 100 rappers turning on him and a rival dishing out lyrical body blows—Drake is trying to remind the world exactly why he’s been on top for over a decade.

The first step in that journey? The surprise release of $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, a vibey loosie pack that includes the chart-dominating hit “NOKIA.” It was a reminder that when Drake locks in, he still runs the soundscape.

Now, with anticipation building, the next move is clear: a brand-new album. According to streamer Adin Ross, who spilled on a recent stream, Drake’s upcoming project is “going to be amazing” and “very important” for his legacy. While Ross didn’t reveal features or whether Drake will respond to Kendrick Lamar directly on it, the tone of his comments suggests something major is brewing.

The question remains: Can the 6 God pull off the biggest redemption arc in hip-hop history? Time—and the music—will tell.
