These two didn’t have to go this crazy together.

Central Cee and Sexyy Red dropped their new single “Guilt Trippin’” on June 19th, and it’s a whole vibe. The beat leans into an Afrobeat or R&B club rhythm—something that feels a bit like mid 2010s Drake, smooth and infectious. It’s got an easy groove that carries the emotion behind the lyrics.

This track is essentially a messy love song. Both artists clearly care for each other, but they’re also caught up in a game of pushing buttons. They are testing loyalty and playing with each other’s patience. The sexual tension is thick, but the lyrics are surprisingly restrained—especially compared to some of Sexyy Red’s other features.

Central Cee opens with a raw, vulnerable verse. He admits he hasn’t treated his partner right—calling her names, breaking her heart. Now he’s here guilt-tripping, doing whatever he can to keep her around. Sexyy Red’s verse flips the energy- she hasn’t been perfect either, but she’s honest about wanting him and no one else.

Overall, the pair has chemistry that is undeniable, and they flow together effortlessly. It’s one of those songs that gets stuck in your head—not just for the beat, but for the back-and-forth tension in the lyrics. Definitely worth a listen.
