“Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee Becomes Most Streamed Song of All Time

“Sunflower” is my s**t!

I want you to do this exercise with me… Think of every song ever released—yeah, we’re talking “Thriller,” “Don’t Stop Me Now,” all the heavy-hitters. Got one in your head?

Now, guess what the most-streamed song of all time is.

If you said “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, you deserve one of those cookies with gold flakes in it.

That’s right—“Sunflower,” which was featured on the excellent Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse soundtrack, has officially surpassed “Old Town Road” by Lil Nas X to become the most-streamed song ever, clocking in at 3.96 billion streams. That’s billion, with a B.

While it’s not surprising that Post Malone is part of this milestone—he’s been dominating charts for years—I’m genuinely happy that Swae Lee, from the legendary Rae Sremmurd, now holds this record too. He deserves every bit of this.

And to be fair, “Sunflower” is a freaking fantastic song. Feel-good, timeless, and clearly built for repeat plays.

I just played “Sunflower” five times today, adding to its total. The rich keep getting richer, bro.
