
The rollout for this upcoming Clipse album has been fantastic.
Clipse has just teased their upcoming single “Chains & Whips” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the next offering from their hotly anticipated reunion album Let God Sort Em Out, dropping July 11th. The teaser, already making waves online, gives fans a nostalgic jolt: two women are seen reenacting the iconic “Grindin’” beat with their hands, a callback to the gritty, lunch-table classic that helped launch Clipse into rap royalty.
The visual, directed by Gabriel Moses, is set to be a cinematic experience. Known for his moody, minimalist, and deeply textured style, Moses seems like the perfect fit for a track that brings together Clipse’s raw energy and Kendrick’s razor-sharp intensity. If the teaser is any indication, “Chains & Whips” will blend new-school power with old-school grit—Pusha T and Malice are clearly tapping into their roots while moving forward with Kendrick in the fold.
The full music video is coming soon, and with a rollout this calculated and creative, one thing is clear: Let God Sort Em Out is expected to be a classic. July 11th can’t come fast enough.
