2 Chainz Drops “I Wanna Win” Ahead of Red Clay Soundtrack

The only people who don’t want to win are the Washington Wizards (I’m tired of them tanking, bro).

2 Chainz is gearing up to release his Red Clay short film, and with it comes a full accompanying soundtrack that ties into the story’s Southern grit. His latest offering from the project, “I Wanna Win,” joins previously released singles like “NOT THE ONE,” “Sista Wives,” and “THE ATL EXPERIENCE” to help set the tone for what fans can expect. The new track leans heavily on a hypnotic trap beat that pulls you in like a spell—mesmerizing and woozy, but still packing enough bass to rattle your trunk.

Lyrically, 2 Chainz keeps things consistent with his usual brand of witty street wisdom. The chorus is intentionally repetitive, with him chanting “I Wanna Win” in a loop that feels a bit flat and uninspired. Thankfully, the verses carry more life—he picks up steam with energetic bars about overcoming pressure, stepping up when cornered, and even tossing in some of his signature wild punchlines (including a hilarious line about women with “tariffs on their vagina”). While the beat knocks and the message is clear, the overall sound does come off a bit dated. Still, for fans of 2 Chainz’s classic sound and unfiltered confidence, “I Wanna Win” delivers just enough to keep the anticipation high for Red Clay.

2 Chainz should’ve been a comedian. Dude is hilarious, to me.
