Travis Scott’s “JACKBOYS 2” Scores Massive Spotify Debut

Travis Scott’s star power is undeniable.

Travis Scott and his Cactus Jack crew just dropped a bomb on the streaming world. Their long-awaited compilation album JACKBOYS 2 earned an impressive 35.7 million streams on its opening day on Spotify, making it the second biggest first-day debut for a rap album in 2025.

Released as a surprise drop on a Saturday, JACKBOYS 2 came stacked with high-profile features, genre-bending production, and a whirlwind of hype. The album showcases Travis Scott in several forms: experimental, aggressive, melodic, and futuristic. It also features standout appearances from Future, Playboi Carti, Tyla, Vybz Kartel, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, SoFaygo, SahBabii, NBA YoungBoy, GloRilla, Waka Flocka Flame, and more. With such a wide range of collaborators, the album plays like a chaotic but calculated playlist built for both festivals and headphones.

Notably, JACKBOYS 2 dropped the same weekend as Justin Bieber’s chart-dominating SWAG and the highly anticipated return of Clipse with Let God Sort Em Out. Despite the stiff competition, Travis Scott and his team proved their dominance with this blockbuster debut. Between its eclectic soundscapes and massive feature list, JACKBOYS 2 is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about releases of the year.
