Metro Boomin relies on his usual guests, and some very surprising ones.
Superproducer Metro Boomin has officially pulled the curtain back on his highly anticipated summer album, A FUTURISTIC SUMMA, now set to release on August 1st. Known for redefining the sound of modern hip-hop and producing for everyone from Travis Scott to The Weeknd, Metro is gearing up to unleash a sprawling, high-concept project that blends trap, R&B, and futuristic sonics like never before.
And now we know who’s coming along for the ride.
The confirmed guest list reads like a who’s who of hip-hop over the past two decades: Future, Lil Baby, Quavo, 2 Chainz, T.I., Waka Flocka Flame, Roscoe Dash, Young Dro, Gucci Mane, Young Thug, and more are all set to appear on the album. The lineup balances legends and chart-toppers with a few curveballs—most notably the return of Roscoe Dash, who links up with Metro on the project’s bouncy first single, “Slide.”

The album will feature 20 tracks, each with a different artist, setting the stage for an unpredictable, genre-blending experience. While Metro has remained tight-lipped about the full tracklist, fans can expect both nostalgic reunions and forward-thinking collaborations. This isn’t just a project—it’s a time machine through different phases of hip-hop, all seen through Metro’s visionary lens.
“A Futuristic Summa” aims to be more than a seasonal drop. With its experimental edge, bold production choices, and unpredictable guest list, it’s shaping up to be one of the most ambitious hip-hop releases of the year. Metro Boomin is pushing boundaries—and testing just how much the culture really rides for his sound.
