Travis Scott may have won the battle, but I think Clipse won the war.
Travis Scott and the Cactus Jack collective just made history again. Their latest compilation, JACKBOYS 2, has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving an impressive 252,000 units in its first week. This marks the first rap album to reach the top spot in over three months, reigniting hip-hop’s dominance on the charts.
The success of JACKBOYS 2 is fueled heavily by merch bundles and D2C sales, but the project’s music—stacked with high-energy features, sleek production, and signature Travis Scott innovation—proved strong enough to hold the top position above some heavy hitters. Justin Bieber’s SWAG lands at No. 2 with 167K units sold, while country titan Morgan Wallen holds steady at No. 3 with 147K.

This week’s Billboard 200 shows a diverse and competitive field, but the clear winner is Cactus Jack. With JACKBOYS 2, Travis Scott has not only revived the JACKBOYS brand but also proved the collective’s grip on culture and charts is far from over.
