Drake Confirms New Album ‘ICEMAN’ Is on the Way

Drake should sell popcorn as merch for this project.

During his performance in Birmingham, UK, Drake dropped a bombshell: “I’m working on my album ICEMAN — we got a lot to talk about.” The OVO boss has officially entered his next era, teasing fans with the promise of a new project on the horizon — one that might be colder, sharper, and more direct than anything he’s dropped before.

During the same show, Drake didn’t shy away from the ongoing tension with Kendrick Lamar. As “F*CK KENDRICK” chants erupted from the crowd, Drake smirked and responded, “I can’t say that I don’t agree…” The moment quickly lit social media ablaze, fueling speculation about whether ICEMAN will include further lyrical shots or a final word in the rap beef that defined much of 2024.

Drake also gave fans a live taste of his recent release “What Did I Miss?”, a track that many believe doubles as a subtle flex and a quiet reminder that he hasn’t lost his footing. With introspective bars and Drake’s signature melodic cool, the song has climbed up playlists and added more intrigue to ICEMAN‘s potential direction.

This all follows a major appearance at Wireless Festival in London, where Drake surprised the crowd with a high-energy, hit-filled set that had the UK buzzing for days. Whether it’s taking over festival stages or fueling online wars, Drake is once again commanding the global spotlight — and ICEMAN might just be his most personal (and savage) project yet.
