We couldn’t go a whole summer without a new Yeat project, right?
Yeat is preparing to take over the game once again at a time when hip-hop has been hotter than Sophie Cunningham. The enigmatic rapper has just announced his upcoming EP titled DANGEROUS SUMMER, arriving this Friday with zero warning, zero promo, and zero deluxe plans. In true Yeat fashion, the rollout is nonexistent, replaced instead with a statement of intent: “NO ROLL OUT / NO DELUXË.”
The project marks a spontaneous chapter for Yeat, known for his futuristic sound and die-hard fanbase. While little is known about the tracklist or features (if any), the project’s cover—shot by cult filmmaker and visual artist Harmony Korine—hints at something raw, disruptive, and visually bold.

Coming off the back of a red-hot run that’s redefined underground rap’s aesthetic, DANGEROUS SUMMER feels like Yeat tossing gasoline on an already blazing summer. Whether it’s rage-ready bangers or woozy trap anthems, fans are expecting Yeat to deliver another chaos-soaked listen.
Go ahead and tell your manager you aren’t coming into work on Friday.
