BigXThaPlug Drops Bitter Country Track “Hell At Night”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Damn, so BigXThaPlug is doubling down on this whole Country s**t, huh?

This is America, so if BigXThaPlug’s big-ass wants to be a Country artist, you have to let him be! After scoring big with Bailey Zimmerman on the hit “All The Way,” BigXThaPlug returns with his latest single “Hell At Night,” featuring Ella Langley. The track effortlessly marries a twangy country instrumental with trap influences, complete with deep bass that rattles speakers and sets the tone for a raw, emotional ride.

Ella Langley brings unmistakable country authenticity with her cold, hard-hitting chorus, singing about the bitter desire to give her ex “hell.” Her voice perfectly balances the track’s dark energy, adding a hauntingly relatable edge to the story. Meanwhile, BigXThaPlug switches gears with his signature punchy rap delivery, his vocals edging into distorted territory as he channels a Chance The Rapper vibe reminiscent of “Baby Blue.” His verses drip with venom, spitting vivid bars about all the pain and petty revenge he wishes on a lover gone wrong.

For listeners who appreciate emotional honesty wrapped in a genre-bending package, “Hell At Night” is a track to indulge in.
