Looks like Gunna’s “last wun” with YSL turned into another big wun for the charts.

Gunna’s The Last Wun has officially debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, moving 81K units in its first week. This marks the Atlanta rapper’s seventh career top ten album, adding yet another accolade to his already impressive run.

Despite being his final album under the YSL banner, Gunna proved once again that he knows how to deliver projects that fans stream heavily, pulling in over 70 million Spotify streams during its opening week.

The album features several standout collaborations that fans immediately gravitated toward. “Forever Be Mine” with Wizkid leads the pack with 7.24M streams, followed by “Just Say Dat” at 5.11M and “WGFT” with Burna Boy at 4.82M. “At My Purest” with Offset added another 4.24M, while “Sakpase” rounded out the early fan favorites with nearly 4M plays. The numbers prove that Gunna’s music continues to move globally, with each track finding its own traction in different markets.

In terms of first-week sales, The Last Wun ranks sixth overall in Gunna’s catalog. While it doesn’t top the record-breaking highs of DS4EVER, the performance is especially notable considering it’s a transitional project, closing out his YSL era while setting the stage for what’s next. That context makes this a symbolic album, representing resilience, independence, and an artist proving he can hold his own without the heavy machine behind him.

Since his release from jail, Gunna’s output has reflected a sharper focus and relentless work ethic. The Last Wun feels like the culmination of that — an album built from discipline, self-reliance, and determination. Whether it’s the polished production, versatile features, or Gunna’s own confident delivery, this project signals that he’s not just surviving industry shifts — he’s thriving, and the numbers show it.
