Drake’s ICEMAN’ era is starting to take full shape, and Johnny Manziel may have just given fans the biggest clue yet.

Johnny Manziel, the former NFL player who crashed out, has added fuel to the speculation around Drake’s upcoming album ICEMAN, suggesting that the project could drop “soon, around the end of October / November.” While Drake has yet to confirm an official release date, the buzz is already in overdrive. This comes on the heels of two successful singles—“Which One” featuring Central Cee and “What Did I Miss?”—both of which have made waves on the charts and hinted at the album’s overall direction.

Alongside the music, Drake has been building anticipation with his ICEMAN series, which has already rolled out two episodes. The rollout feels like part documentary, part visual companion, showcasing a darker, more calculated aesthetic that suggests this album could be a major turning point in his career. Fans are already piecing together theories about the themes and narratives Drake may explore.

In the meantime, Drake has been on the move across Europe, performing at festivals and arena shows. His appearance at Wireless Festival in the UK drew heavy praise, not only for his performance but also for the artists he brought out, including Yeat, GIVEON, Bryson Tiller and Sexyy Red.

Complicating things further, Drake is also in the middle of his ongoing lawsuit against UMG, with reports alleging he even sought access to Kendrick Lamar’s criminal record and personal allegations. Whether or not those legal battles seep into the music, ICEMAN feels poised to become more than just another Drake album—it could be his most personal and defiant release in years.
