Does Young Thug open up the chance of mending things?

Young Thug recently spoke candidly in a podcast interview with Big Bank, reflecting on his long-standing relationship with Gunna. Despite legal battles and industry rumors, Thugger expressed that his feelings toward Gunna remain deeply affectionate: “I love you, bruh… I poured so much into him, I can’t even hate him. In jail, I thought I hated him… but I don’t wish any ill will on him — no ill feelings at all.”

The Atlanta rapper revealed the financial and emotional investment he made in Gunna’s career. “I ain’t never made a dollar off Gunna, ask him. This my little brother, and I spent millions on the n**** […] he always f*cked up and had to call me to get money,” Thug said. His words underline the mentorship and brotherhood that often define relationships in the hip-hop world.

Thug also shared that the sense of loss he feels has impacted his own creativity and output. “I lost a n**** to betrayal. You signing that one piece of paper could give me a life sentence… You gon’ let a piece of paper end all this sh*t?” he reflected, highlighting the intersection of personal loyalty and legal pressures.

Through it all, Young Thug’s vulnerability stands out. Fans see not just a rapper or mogul but a brother navigating the complexities of trust, fame, and the emotional weight of supporting those closest to him. The interview provides a rare glimpse into the human side of hip-hop’s high-stakes world.
