Leaked Call Reveals Young Thug and Drake Dissing Gunna on ‘BUSINESS IS BUSINESS’ Intro

Hip-hop just got a new twist of drama as a leaked jail call allegedly captures Young Thug and Drake plotting to diss Gunna on the intro of BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.

A newly leaked jail call is sending shockwaves through the rap community, as it allegedly reveals Young Thug and Drake plotting to diss Gunna on the intro track to Thug’s 2023 album BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. In the call, Thug can be heard saying, “I’m tryna drop this mf the same day buddy [Gunna] drop. Drake go straight at ass his tho…” hinting at direct shots toward the Atlanta rapper.

The leaked lyrics in question appear to come from the album’s opening track, “Parade On Cleveland.” Drake raps: “I’m about to mop up some boys, it’s custodian time / Me and my thoughts is the loneliest time / Don’t tell me ‘bout loyalty, show me this time / Business is business, you owe me this time / Slime on your head, Nickelodeon time.” Interestingly, the song itself is a slow jam, contrasting with the lyrical tension.

This revelation has fans speculating about the strained relationship between Gunna and his YSL affiliates. Gunna, who released his comeback album “a Gift & a Curse” in 2023, has faced accusations of snitching after taking an Alford plea in the YSL RICO case—something Thug and his circle have subtly alluded to in the past.

While Drake and Gunna have collaborated before on fan-favorite tracks like “Never Recover” and “P Power,” this leak raises questions about whether those industry ties will withstand the fallout from these conversations and accusations. The rap world will be watching closely to see how Gunna responds.
