Gunna cements his legacy, entering the top 25 longest-charting rappers of all time on the Billboard charts.

Gunna has officially entered the elite ranks of the top 25 longest-charting rappers in Billboard history, surpassing Lil Durk with over 900 cumulative weeks on the charts. This milestone comes as no surprise to fans who have followed his evolution from YSL protégé to a solo powerhouse.

Rising to fame under the guidance of Young Thug, Gunna built his foundation with YSL before facing a legal setback that saw him serve time and return via an Alford Plea. Since then, he’s taken his career into his own hands, releasing albums largely solo while collaborating with artists outside the YSL sphere, including Afrobeats stars like Wizkid.

His latest release, The Last Wun, has further solidified his chart dominance. Since dropping on August 8th, the album has remained a top 5 hip-hop project, showcasing Gunna’s versatility and continued ability to resonate with audiences. With his position in Billboard history now secured, Gunna proves he’s not only a hitmaker but a lasting force in hip-hop.
