Dave Blunts Cuts Ties with Ye, Tells Him to “Find God” in Candid Text Exchange

Dave Blunts has officially ended his creative relationship with Ye, taking to Instagram to share why he’s walking away.

Dave Blunts has officially ended his creative relationship with Ye, taking to Instagram to explain why. In a series of new posts, the artist and producer shared a screenshot of a text message he sent to Ye, bluntly stating, “You are very lost…Please find God.” The post made it clear that their professional partnership is over.

Blunts and Ye had quietly started working together, though no collaborative tracks ever surfaced. While fans speculated about what the two might create, the partnership appears to have dissolved before any music could be released. The abrupt message suggests a deeper personal rift beyond just artistic differences.

What makes the split even more surprising is Blunts’ previous loyalty to Ye. At one point, Blunts publicly defended him during a spat with 50 Cent, even creating his own diss tracks aimed at 50 to back up the Chicago superstar. That level of support makes his decision to walk away now feel especially significant.

Neither Ye nor his team have publicly responded to Blunts’ announcement. For now, it seems the once-promising collaboration has ended before it began, leaving fans wondering what may have happened behind the scenes to spark such a dramatic fallout.
