Saba & Pivot Gang Announce John Walt Day Show at The Metro in Chicago

Chicago’s own Saba is set to light up his hometown alongside Pivot Gang for a special John Walt Day performance this November.

Chicago hip-hop favorite Saba will headline the John Walt Day Performance with his collective Pivot Gang at The Metro in Chicago on November 28. The annual event celebrates the life and legacy of John Walt, a beloved member of the group whose influence continues to inspire the city’s vibrant music scene.

This year’s concert arrives as Saba basks in the success of his critically acclaimed album From The Private Collection of Saba and No ID. The project, which dropped earlier in 2025, features standout collaborations with BJ The Chicago Kid, Kelly Rowland, Raphael Saadiq, and Smino, further cementing Saba’s reputation as one of hip-hop’s most thoughtful and versatile artists.

Known for their electric stage chemistry, Saba and Pivot Gang promise an unforgettable night filled with heartfelt tributes, sharp lyricism, and infectious energy. Fans can expect a mix of new material and beloved classics that highlight the crew’s unmistakable Chicago flavor.

Tickets for the John Walt Day performance are expected to sell quickly, given Saba’s stellar year and the group’s loyal fan base. For Chicago music lovers, this November 28 show is shaping up to be a can’t-miss celebration of artistry and community.
