Young Thug’s “UY SCUTI” Album Delayed One Week, Now Drops September 26th

This might be a good idea. September 19 is stacked with releases!

Fans of Young Thug will have to wait a little longer for his highly anticipated album Uy Scuti. Originally slated for release on the 19th, the album’s drop date has now been pushed back by one week. The new release date is officially set for September 26th, 2025, building even more anticipation for what is expected to be another boundary-pushing project from the Atlanta rapper.

To keep fans engaged during this extra wait, Young Thug has been dropping snippets throughout the week. One of the most intriguing teasers includes him referencing “whoopty doo,” which he said during his podcast appearance with Big Bank. In another video, Thug was seen collaborating with the prolific producer Southside, working on an unnamed track featuring heavy bass that has already got fans buzzing about its potential sound.

Alongside these teasers, Thug also dropped a single titled “Man I Miss My Dogs,” where he reflects on his relationships with some of hip hop’s biggest names, including Drake, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, and Mariah The Scientist. The track provides an emotional layer that suggests Uy Scuti will not only showcase Thug’s usual experimental sound but also dive deeper into his personal connections and growth.

Though it’s still unclear how many tracks will be on Uy Scuti or who might be featured, Young Thug’s recent activity and consistent talent indicate that the album will be worth the wait. Regardless of the delays or mysteries surrounding its content, one thing is certain: fans will be listening on September 26th.
