Young Thug’s “UY SCUTI” Now Projected to Debut at #6 on Billboard 200 with 54K Units

Young Thug continues his Billboard dominance with UY SCUTI, his ninth top-ten album despite a turbulent rollout.

Young Thug just won’t stay off the charts. His latest album, UY SCUTI, is projected to debut at #6 on the Billboard 200 with 54,000 total units (including 13,000 pure sales). That number officially earns Thugga his ninth career top-ten album—a pretty wild accomplishment considering everything that’s surrounded this release.

What’s especially impressive about UY SCUTI is how it still managed to shine through despite leaks flooding the internet in the weeks leading up to its release. Even with the setbacks, Thug delivered an album stacked with star power. The guest list reads like a hip-hop Avengers lineup—Cardi B, Lil Baby, Travis Scott, Future, and even YFN Lucci, with whom he’s had tension in the past. It’s a mix of chaos and collaboration that somehow works perfectly in Thug’s universe.

If that wasn’t enough, Young Thug doubled down with the Supernova Edition, adding seven more tracks to the album and bringing the total to a generous 28 songs. It’s a move that screams confidence and creativity, a reminder that Thug is still one of the most unpredictable artists in the game.

In terms of first-week numbers, UY SCUTI lands behind Business Is Business (89K), Punk (90K), Slime Language 2 (113K), and So Much Fun (131K), but it still outpaces Slime Season 3 (38K). Numbers aside, it’s clear that Young Thug’s fanbase remains loyal, leaks be damned. UY SCUTI might not be his biggest debut, but it’s proof that Thugga’s influence and resilience are still out of this world.
