Metro Boomin’s “Heroes & Villains” continues to prove that great production and iconic collaborations never fade with time.
Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains has officially crossed 1 billion streams on Spotify in 2025 — a remarkable feat for an album that dropped back in 2022. Even three years later, the project continues to perform like it was just released last month. It currently sits as the ninth most-streamed rap album of the year so far, showing just how much staying power Metro’s production and vision really have.
When you look at the tracklist, it’s easy to see why the album hasn’t lost steam. Leading the way is the smash hit “Creepin” featuring The Weeknd and 21 Savage, which has soared past 1.6 billion streams. Right behind it are “Too Many Nights” with Don Toliver and Future, sitting at 1 billion streams, and “Trance” with Travis Scott and Young Thug, close behind at 977 million. Then there’s “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” with Future and Chris Brown at 950 million and “Niagara Falls (Foot or 2)” with Travis Scott and 21 Savage rounding out the top five.
What makes Heroes & Villains stand out is its balance between cinematic production, unforgettable features, and timeless replay value. Three years later, are we finally ready to call it a modern classic?
