For today’s 12-game NBA slate, I’m locking in on player props from Joel Embiid, Tre Mann, and Christian Braun.
RECORD
(8-2-1)
TOP 5 PICKS TONIGHT
5. Joel Embiid vs. Hornets (O 10.5 Rebs & Asts)

If Joel Embiid doesn’t dominate against the Hornets, it might be time to sound the alarm. After a rough outing versus the Celtics (in a game the Sixers somehow still won), he should be itching to go off against a Hornets frontcourt featuring Kalbrenner and Diabaté.
Honestly, I expect at least four or five offensive boards from him alone. Beyond scoring, Embiid’s IQ and passing often go underappreciated — he reads the game well, recognizes when guys like VJ and Maxey have it going, and shifts into a more selfless, facilitator role when needed. This matchup should be a get-right game for him.
4. Ayo Dosunmo vs. Magic (O 16.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts)

Ayo’s been really solid for the Bulls when he’s healthy. He competes hard on defense, moves the ball willingly, and doesn’t force anything on offense. Going up against the Magic — who just lost to the Hawks and will likely come out fired up — Chicago’s backcourt is going to have its hands full.
With guys like Paolo, Franz, and Bane attacking, players such as Giddey, Huerter, and Tre Jones will struggle to keep up defensively. The Bulls don’t quite have the personnel to handle that pressure, which means Ayo should see some extra minutes in this one. More minutes means more points, assists, and rebounds.
3. Tre Mann at 76ers (O 12.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts)

This pick feels insanely low — like, what are we doing here? Every time Tre Mann checks in, it instantly becomes The Tre Show. He’s hunting shots, playing with confidence, and honestly giving off modern-day Larry Hughes vibes (minus the defense, of course). If this game turns into a blowout — which it easily could — the bench will see plenty of action. And when that happens, Tre’s the guy who’s going to take full advantage. I wouldn’t be surprised if he drops 12 points by himself.
2. Christian Braun vs. Suns (O 6.5 Rebs & Asts)

This feels like one of those picks that’s way too low to ignore. I don’t have some deep statistical breakdown for it — it’s more about feel. The Nuggets have plenty of stat-fillers, sure, but against a team like the Suns — still competitive but clearly less talented — someone like Christian Braun could be the spark. After dropping just four points against the Warriors, he’ll likely come out hungry and locked in, ready to make a statement.
1. VJ Edgecombe vs. Hornets (O 8.5 Rebs & Asts)

VJ Edgecombe quite literally had one of the best first NBA games ever. Without looking his numbers up, I’m sure it’s behind Wilt Chamberlain’s debut somehow, someway.
Though I do not expect 34 from him again (He’ll see different defenses moving forward), we’ll get to see the other things he brings to the table. I love this play!
