Things remain unchanged, with Cardi B still reigning supreme.
TOP 5
5. Gunna – The Last Wun (17k)

Did Gunna create the best “get-out-of-my-deal” album of all time with The Last Wun? With the first anniversary of Eternal Atake 2—which I thought was god-awful—it had me thinking that he just might have. The Last Wun is still getting major play in my car lately; I’ve been bumping “cfwm” nonstop.
4. $ome $exy $ongs 4 U – PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake (18k)

$ome $exy $ongs 4 U has had an incredible run. How incredible? It might still be sitting in the top five by the time next Valentine’s Day rolls around. As I said when it first dropped, I always felt like these songs would age like fine wine—and they absolutely have.
3. Drake – Take Care (20k)

Drake’s Take Care continues to hold strong in the top three—nearly 15 years after its release on November 11, 2011. What’s even more impressive is that Views (2016) is also dominating hip-hop streaming charts on Spotify. With reports surfacing that hip-hop hasn’t had a Top 40 hit on the Billboard charts for the first time in decades, one thing is clear: the game still needs Drake.
2. NBA YoungBoy – MASA (21k)

You know what’s really interesting? NLE The Great started beefing with NBA YoungBoy right after YB began seeing major success with his MASA tour and his hit “Shot Callin,” which is currently one of the most popular rap songs on the Billboard charts. If we’re truly headed toward an NLE vs. YoungBoy showdown, I’m all for it. And now that NBA YoungBoy’s album just became the second-highest-selling hip-hop album of the week, something tells me that’s only going to fuel the fire even more.
1. AM I THE DRAMA? – Cardi B (64k)

You know what amazes me? How great AM I THE DRAMA? is doing, especially considering how quiet Cardi B has been these past few weeks. Understandably so — she’s pregnant — but interestingly, it’s been Offset who’s kept her name buzzing with all the attention he’s been giving her lately. Still, when the dust settles, Cardi remains the one bright spot in what has easily been one of the worst months in hip-hop history — and that’s no exaggeration.
