Dave and Central Cee have officially made UK rap history. Their 2023 smash hit “Sprinter” has become the first UK rap song ever to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify — a monumental milestone that cements both artists’ global impact.
The track, which features the duo trading slick verses over smooth, laid-back production, quickly became a defining anthem for modern British hip-hop. “Sprinter” was part of a four-song collaborative run that also included “Trojan Horse,” “Our 25th Birthday,” and “UK Rap,” all of which showcased the undeniable chemistry between Dave and Central Cee.
