50 Cent rapping well at 50 is amazing.
You have to stop everything you’re doing when 50 Cent hops on the mic these days. The G-Unit boss is back with “Fight Land,” the theme song for his upcoming TV series of the same name — and it feels like a throwback to his prime.
While it’s unlikely we’ll be getting a full-fledged 50 Cent album anytime soon, the Queens rapper proves he’s still with the s**ts. The track features a smooth yet ominous hook from Jeremih, while Brooklyn drill stars Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow deliver menacing verses that add a modern edge to 50’s timeless formula.
From the opening verse, 50 sets the tone — rapping with that old-school hunger and unmistakable aggression that made him one of hip-hop’s most commanding voices. Even if he sounds a bit weary at moments, his bars still carry the raw grit and survivalist energy that perfectly mirror the show’s themes.
Just give 50 Cent some coffee, and he will get s**t poppin’ again. I promise!

Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
